The Sustainability Project

As Earth's global consumption levels rise to unthinkable heights, the way in which our world operates continues to shift according to the availability of natural resources we have taken for granted this past century. To think that the majority or our consumeristic behavior has only picked up within the past forty years, it seems unfathomable that we have depleted so much of Earth's resources, that in thirty years we will reach what scientists are now calling "The Looming Catastrophe." A catastrophe it will be, taking into account the way in which we live now will not be possible to sustain to any manageable extent.

It's as simple as this: the world in which we live in is being drained of it's natural sources we need to survive at an unthinkable rate, and if we don't reduce the amount we consume, our race will inevitably reach a tipping point in which the foundation which we call the modern economy will cease to exist. Life as we know it will change forever... that is, unless we change our ways.

My name is Luke Whaley. I believe the way in which common society lives ultimately is leading to an outcome so disastrous, that we won't be able to ever fully recover. Sustainability is the study concerning the conservation of what mother Earth has given us to use, and I believe human greed, and desire is what is depleting these resources so quickly. I believe that if each person on this planet makes even the smallest change to their consumer habits, a more positive impact will be made on generations we won't be alive to see.

Join me in shaping the way for future generations so that a more sustainable future may be possible. Join me in creating The Sustainability Project.
